Education & Bio

Marika is originally from Marietta, GA. She earned her undergraduate degree in 2018 from Samford University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She continued her education at Samford to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023. Marika has a variety of experiences treating patients with spinal injuries, degenerative changes in multiple joints, and post operative rehabilitation. Marika’s treatment style involves a combination of hands-on approach with exercise prescription targeted towards patient goals and increasing functional independence. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends/family, exercising, cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs, and reading a good book!
