Professional Affiliations

Valarie has been a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) since 2013 and is licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Georgia since 2019. She is certified as an Orthopedic Technologist (OTC) by the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologists since 2022.

Education & Training

Valerie earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science: Athletic Training from UNC Chapel Hill in 2013. She was the assistant athletic trainer for NCFC from 2014-2016 and head athletic trainer for the North Carolina Courage in 2017. From 2017-2019, she worked in sports-based physical therapy in Raleigh, NC. She also received her OTC credentials to assist in surgery in 2022.
