Shikha Ravikumar, PT, DPT, MS
Education & Bio
Shikha grew up in Central Florida, and is an Iowa Hawkeye at heart. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Physiology. Afterward, she made her way to Marietta, Georgia, where she pursued her Master of Science in Sport Health Science from Life University and specialized in Sport Injury Management. She then returned to Florida to continue her education and earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida.
As a former competitive soccer player and Level 2 Coach certified by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, Shikha particularly enjoys working with athletes of all ages and levels. She has experience in sports, orthopedic, geriatric, neurologic, and acute care physical therapy, and she has been trained in advanced manual therapy techniques. Her clinical interests include facilitating patients’ rehabilitation from lower extremity, shoulder, and spine injuries to return them to doing what they love.
Shikha joined Peachtree Orthopedics in 2021. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Florida Physical Therapy Association. She is certified in BStrong Blood Flow Restriction Training and plans to become certified in dry needling and manual therapy. Her goal is to become a board-certified orthopaedic specialist.
In her free time, Shikha enjoys soccer, music, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.
