Professional Affiliations

Alicia is a certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) since 2005 by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and is currently licensed in the state of Georgia. Through the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologist, she is an Orthopedic Technologist Certified (OTC), and Orthopedic Technologist- Surgery Certified (OTC-SC). She is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, and Athletic Trainers in Physician Practice Society.

Education & Training

Alicia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from Michigan State University in 2005. She then pursued a Master’s in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training at the University of South Carolina while serving as the first Head Athletic Trainer at Newberry High School and working as a physician extender for USC Sports Medicine. After earning her master’s in 2007, Alicia moved to Atlanta and worked in a physical therapy clinic before joining Peachtree Orthopedics.
