Professional Affiliations

Troy is a nationally board-certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and is licensed in the state of Georgia. She is also a Certified Orthopedic Technologist (OTC) through the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologists.

Education & Training

Troy earned a Bachelor of the Arts in Exercise and Sport Science with an Athletic Training concentration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016, followed by a Master of Science degree in Advanced Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2018. She later went on to graduate from the CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Residency Program with Emory University’s School of Medicine in 2021. Her experience includes orthopedic trauma and adult reconstruction surgery, Division I and II collegiate athletics, high school, and youth sports.
