OVERVIEW
Ben Barden, MD., is an orthopedic surgeon treating patients of all ages, specializing in Sports Medicine and joined Peachtree Orthopedics in April, 2023. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. After graduating from the Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Barden completed his orthopedic residency at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and then completed additional specialty training in Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut. His training confers an expertise in minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. In addition to general orthopedics and fracture care, his clinical interests include patellofemoral dysfunction, complex shoulder and knee injuries, as well as evolving cartilage restoration and shoulder replacement techniques. He is an active member of the Patellofemoral Foundation.
