OVERVIEW
Dr. Vu grew up in Lilburn, Georgia and graduated from Parkview High School. She attended Princeton University, where she majored in Molecular Biology with minors in Neuroscience and Spanish and graduated with honors in 2011. She returned to Georgia and earned her medical degree from Emory University along with a Master’s of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory Rollins School of Public Health where she was a member of the Delta Omega national honor society.
After Emory, Dr. Vu completed her residency at the University of Washington Orthopaedics program, which has been ranked by US News and World Report as one of the top orthopedic residency programs in the United States. While at UW, she was selected as an Administrative Chief Resident, elected to the AOA Resident Leadership Program, and participated in the ORS Clinician Scholar Career program.
Following residency, she was awarded a Hand, Upper Extremity and Microsurgery Fellowship at Duke University where she trained with national leaders in shoulder, elbow, hand, and microsurgery. During her time in residency and fellowship, Dr. Vu presented at national conferences and published articles in peer reviewed journals related to hand and upper extremity.
