Education & Bio

Sarah graduated from the University of Georgia in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science. She then earned her Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from Augusta University in 2023. Throughout her educational journey, she gained relevant clinical experience by participating in various jobs and internships focused on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Additionally, she gained research experience while completing her Master’s degree through her capstone project, where she assessed the relationship between upper extremity trauma rehabilitation and psychosocial factors.

Sarah grew up in Savannah, Georgia, and moved to Atlanta after graduating in 2023. She began her career working for a high-volume outpatient hand and upper extremity clinic, where she attained valuable knowledge on an extensive range of post-operative, traumatic, and chronic conditions of the upper extremity. She joined Peachtree Orthopedics in 2025 and plans to pursue her CHT certification at her earliest opportunity. She is passionate about quality, client-centered care and enjoys working with both operative and chronic conditions. She is a member of various hand therapy organizations, including Georgia Hand and Upper Extremity Special Interest Group, and American Society of Hand Therapists. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys traveling, attending concerts, exercising, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
