She attended Auburn University where she earned a B.S. in Exercise Sciencein 2019. While there, she participated in undergraduate research and intramural sports. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia Southern University in 2023.
While working to obtain her doctorate at Georgia Southern, Alex was accepted to present her research on blood flow restriction (BFR) in the upper extremity along with her fellow researchers at the Georgia Southern Research Symposium and the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in 2023. She was able to further her skills in the outpatient setting by working with various age ranges, diagnoses, and post-operative procedures. As a former athlete who had to participate in her own rehabilitation, Alex has a passion for providing excellent patient care to allow her patients to return to their passions and hobbies like her physical therapist did for her.
In her free time, Alex enjoys spending time with her friends and family, attending concerts, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers and Chicago Bears.
