Cara is certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Composite Medical Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Education & Training

Cara graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She continued her education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine earning her Master of Science in Health Sciences-Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2020. She then worked in general orthopedics and spine where she gained clinical and surgical experience to include assisting with total joints, orthopedic trauma cases, spine surgery and joint arthroscopies prior to joining Peachtree Orthopedics in 2024.
