Kathrine “Kate” Riescher, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, joined Peachtree Orthopedics in February 2016 and works with Dr. Ugwonali.
Professional Affiliations
Kate has been a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia since 2011 and a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2016. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Education & Training
Kate graduated from Columbus State University with her Bachelors in Science in nursing in May 2011. While at Columbus State, she played collegiate soccer for all four years. She worked for two years in Columbus, GA as an orthopedic and emergency room nurse. She then came back to her hometown of Atlanta and worked as an orthopedic nurse at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital for nearly three years. She graduated from Mercer University with a Masters in Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner in December 2015.
