Ms. Smith is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is currently licensed in the state of Georgia. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Education & Training
Ms. Smith graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a B.S.Ed. in exercise and sport science with an emphasis in athletic training. She successfully passed the BOC board exam and became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Ms. Smith then spent one year with the University of Georgia’s cross country and track & field teams working as an ATC, prior to attending PA School. She received her MSPAS from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in December 2014, and successfully passed the PANCE board exam in December 2014. Ms. Smith works with Dr. Stephen W. Smith, and specializes in lower extremity osteoarthritis and total joint replacement surgery.
