Amber Patton, OTR/L
Education & Bio
Amber graduated from the University of Alabama in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance/Exercise Science concentrating in fitness, disability sports, and health promotion. She graduated with a M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in 2019. Throughout her education, Amber gained experience through various jobs and internships in hand/upper extremity, adapted athletics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and mental health.
Following graduation in 2019, Amber returned home to Daphne, Alabama where she worked in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation at a Mobile-Area hospital system, providing care in upper extremity/orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurorehabilitation. Amber returned to Atlanta in 2022 and has been primarily working with hand and upper extremity patients in the area. She is an aspiring CHT and is passionate about providing functionally comprehensive care to patients with hand and upper extremity injuries and/or conditions. Amber is a member of the Georgia Hand and Upper Extremity Special Interest Group.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys cheering on the Braves and Alabama, spending time outdoors, and playing with her dog, Dansby.
