Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University in 1994. During the first few years of her career, she worked in various settings including acute care, inpatient/outpatient rehab, and home health. She was also a travel OT for 12 months, and those assignments helped her gain perspective and discover her interest in treating upper extremity injuries. Lisa began specializing in rehabilitation of elbow, wrist and hand orthopedic injuries in 1998 when she moved to GA, and received her Certification in Hand Therapy in 2000. She is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the Georgia Hand and Upper Extremity Special Interest Group.
Her main areas of practice and clinical strengths include treating a variety of upper extremity conditions such as fractures, hand trauma, tendon & nerve injuries, overuse syndromes, and custom splint fabrication. She has a strong interest in helping people recover and improve the skills they need to perform their daily activities. Lisa is originally from Springfield, Ill and enjoys cycling, boating, and spending time with her husband and 2 grown sons.
