Rachel Sorensen, OTR/L

Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise and sport science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in Spanish for the health professions from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. Rachel earned a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2022. She was a clinical research scholar in the program and completed a Master’s Thesis on virtual reality for children with cerebral palsy.
Rachel grew up in the Outer Banks of NC and has recently moved to Atlanta and joined Peachtree Orthopedics in 2023. Her clinical experience includes adult outpatient orthopedics and neuro, as well as pediatric outpatient therapy during clinical rotations. She enjoys working with both post-op and chronic injuries of the upper extremity. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her puppy Maverick, exploring new places, reading, and traveling.
