Education & Bio
Jaliyah is originally from Brooklyn, New York and moved to McDonough, Georgia in 2010. She attended Georgia State University and obtained her B.S. in Exercise Science in 2017. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Washington in 2021. Jaliyah is passionate about providing excellent patient care and giving each patient a unique experience. She wants all of her patients to feel valued and takes a collaborative approach to PT. Jaliyah loves to empower patients by educating them on their bodies and providing them with the tools and knowledge that is required to heal and enhance their functional mobility. Jaliyah has experience in working with a wide variety of patients from sports-related injuries, spinal diagnosis, post-operative rehabilitation, and degenerative changes of multiple joints. Though her treatment style varies with each patient, she prefers a hands-on approach to restore function.
In her free time, she enjoys exercising, hanging with friends/family and anxiously watching the New York Giants play during football season.
