Marcus Hutchinson is a licensed physical therapist. He earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science in 1989 from the University of Georgia, Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy in 1991 from Georgia State University, and Master’s in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training in 1996 from Georgia State University. He assisted as a Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer with Dunwoody High School, South Gwinnett High School, and Pope High School from 1993-1999. His specializations include Certified Athletic Trainer (1996), Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (2002), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (2004), Functional Movement Screen/Selective Functional Movement Assessment Certification (2010), and Dry Needling Certifications (2019/2020).
His volunteer service includes work with Crossroads Hospice, STAND: The Haiti Physical Therapy Project, and Emory’s South Georgia Farmworker Health Project.
Marcus enjoys spending time with his wife Kay, and three children, Eli, Sarah Grace, and Olivia. His personal interests include yoga, cycling, swimming, meditation, and music.
